If you’re not a current member of the Canton Dog Park, you’ll need to bring proof of up-to-date vaccinations for Rabies and DHLPP, signed by an accredited veterinarian. This ensures all participating pups are protected and can safely interact with one another during the festivities. Once at the event, be sure to pick up a “Pet Passport” – this special activity encourages visitors to take a scenic stroll on the walking path between the Dog Park and Preservation Park. Complete your passport journey and you’ll receive a free pup-cup treat for your furry friend when you reach Preservation Park – a reward both you and your dog will appreciate!

The timing of “Pumpkin and Pups” perfectly coincides with the final regular season of the Canton Farmers Market at Preservation Park, which runs from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm on the same day. After enjoying the Halloween activities at the Dog Park, take a short walk over to browse fresh produce, artisanal goods, and seasonal treats at the market. The vendor booths at the Dog Park event will feature a variety of pet-related merchandise and services, from custom collars to organic treats, alongside Halloween-themed activities designed specifically for canine enjoyment. This dual-event opportunity makes for a perfect autumn Sunday outing in Canton, allowing visitors to experience the best of what our community has to offer.
